A Gentle Guide to What Working Together Looks Like

If you’re curious about how sessions work, what to expect, or whether this kind of coaching is right for you — you’re in the right place. I know that starting something new can bring up questions (and maybe a little nervousness), so I’ve gathered some answers here to help you feel more at ease.

If you don’t see your question below, feel free to reach out directly — I’d love to hear from you.

Do I need to be artistic to do the art-based sessions?

Not at all. These sessions aren’t about making “good” art — they’re about expression, curiosity, and connection. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you doodle every day, you’re welcome here. I’ll guide you gently, and we’ll go at your pace.

What’s the difference between standard and art-based coaching?

The standard sessions are 30 minutes and focus on thoughtful conversation — a space to reflect, process, and move forward with clarity.

The art-based sessions are 45 minutes and include creative prompts like watercolor, journaling, or photography to help you explore things in a more visual or intuitive way. Both are supportive and personal — it just depends on what feels right for you.

How do sessions work?

All sessions are held online via Zoom. Once we schedule, I’ll send you a private link. For art-based sessions, I’ll also let you know what simple materials to have on hand — nothing fancy, I promise.

What happens in the discovery call?

It’s a relaxed 15-minute chat to get to know each other. You can ask questions, share what’s on your heart, and see if this feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure — just space to connect and be heard.

Is my first full session really free?

Yes — after our discovery call, your first full session (whether it’s 30 or 45 minutes) is completely free. It’s my way of offering support while you get a feel for the process.

Do packages expire?

Packages are meant to be used within two months of your first session. That said, life happens. If something comes up, just let me know — I’m flexible and always happy to work with you.

What if I can’t afford the full price?

I offer a few sliding scale spots each month because I believe this work should be accessible. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’ll talk about what’s possible.

What kind of materials do I need for the art sessions?

Just a few simple things — maybe a brush, some watercolor paper, a pen, or a photo that means something to you. I’ll send you a list ahead of time, and we’ll keep it easy and flexible. It’s not about the tools — it’s about what they help you express.

Curious about watercolor? Visit the Watercolor Basics page for a gentle intro to materials and mindset.

Note: Art-based sessions begin in September 2025.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Life happens — I completely understand. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the spot to someone else who may be waiting.

If something urgent comes up, just let me know. I’m human too, and I’ll always do my best to be understanding.

What to Expect in a Session

Whether we’re meeting for a conversation or a creative session, this is your space — to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

You can expect a calm, welcoming space where you can show up exactly as you are.

How do I receive my digital download?

After purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your files. You can also access your downloads through your account on the website. All files are high resolution PDFs or JPGs, ready for printing or digital use.

How can I use the worksheets or downloads?

You can print them at home or use them digitally on a tablet or iPad with apps like GoodNotes, Notability, or Adobe Acrobat. They’re designed to be flexible — use them in a way that supports your rhythm, whether that’s journaling, reflecting, or simply pausing.

Where can I print the artwork or photography?

For best results, I recommend printing on matte or fine art paper. Here are a few trusted options: • Mpix – Giclée Fine Art PrintsArtifact UprisingPrintiqueFinerWorksGicleeToday. You can also print at home using textured or archival paper or visit a local print shop and ask for watercolor or cotton rag paper.

Can I use these downloads for commercial purposes?

No — all items in The Studio are for personal use only. If you’re interested in licensing or collaboration, feel free to contact me.

Will you offer printed versions or physical products?

Possibly. I’m exploring ways to offer printed editions and tactile tools in the future. If you’d like to stay in the loop, you can join my newsletter for updates and early access. What is your return policy? Because all items in The Studio are digital downloads, they are non-refundable once purchased. If you have trouble accessing your files or something doesn’t look right, please reach out — I’m happy to help make it right.

Do you accept commissions or custom work?

Occasionally, yes. If you’re interested in a custom watercolor, illustration, or reflective tool tailored to your needs, I’d love to hear more. I approach commissions slowly and intentionally, and availability depends on my current creative rhythm and coaching schedule. You can contact me here with a short note about what you’re envisioning, and I’ll let you know if it’s a good fit.
